Qingdao is a shining pearl on the coast of the Yellow Sea in northern China. It is one of the first 14 coastal cities in China opening up to the outside world. 一、在青实习

持学习类居留证件的留学生，需要在校外实习的，应当提交就读学校和实习单位出具的同意校外实习的函件，向公安机关出入境管理机构申请居留证件加注实习地点、期限等信息。留学生实习手续由所在高校留学生管理部门统一办理。

办理地点:

1.市南区福州南路17号青岛市民中心3楼公安出入境G16-19窗口，电话66573250。

2.黄岛区、胶州市：青岛市公安局出入境管理局经济技术开发区外事科，电话86973700。

Ⅰ. Internship in Qingdao

Foreign students with study-type residence permits who need to pursue an off-campus internship shall submit approval letters issued by the universities or employers when applying to Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Qingdao Municipal Public Security Bureau for adding footnote such as internship location and duration, on their residence permits. The foreign students’ affairs department of the universities shall be in charge of the relating procedures.

二、优秀外籍高校毕业生在青就业

 在中国境内高校取得硕士及以上学位且毕业一年以内的外国留学生，以及在境外知名高校取得硕士及以上学位且毕业一年以内的外籍毕业生，符合优秀毕业生审批条件的，按照规定办理外国人工作许可。

Ⅱ. Excellent postgraduates

Within one year after graduation, foreign students are eligible for applying for work permits, provided that they have obtained master’s degrees or above from universities in China or from renowned universities abroad and meet the specified qualification for excellent graduates.

   三、优惠政策

   （一）外国留学生在“两区”就业

   外国留学生到中国—上海合作组织地方经贸合作示范区、中国(山东)自由贸易试验区青岛片区就业，符合条件的可以享受住房补贴政策。其中，住房补贴为本科500元/月、硕士研究生800元/月、博士研究生1200元/月，最长可享受36个月。

   （二）外国留学生在“两区”创业

   外国留学生在中国—上海合作组织地方经贸合作示范区、中国(山东)自由贸易试验区青岛片区注册登记创业实体，符合条件的可享受最高3万元的一次性创业补贴政策。

   办理地点：

   Ⅲ. Preferential policies

   (1) Getting employed in the “Two Areas”

   Foreign students working in the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area and the Qingdao Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone can enjoy housing subsidies upon meeting the eligibility requirements. The housing subsidy, which can be claimed for a maximum of 36 months, is 500 yuan/month for foreign undergraduates, 800 yuan/month for foreign students with master’s degrees and 1200 yuan/month for those with doctoral degrees.

   ⑵ Starting a business in the “Two Areas”

   Foreign students who register business entities in the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area and the Qingdao Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone can enjoy a one-off entrepreneurship subsidies of up to 30,000 yuan if they meet the eligibility requirements.
